  1. Don't get discouraged! There are many college scholarships out there for many things. Your school and financial aid will have to know your parents income anyway, so eventually he's going to have to tell you his income. The fact that your mother is not working may assist you in getting some grants, even aid tuition that your school may offer in a discretionary basis.,..and back to the scholarship...like i said you may find more than one scholarship that you may be eligible for. Even if you don't have enough resources, you can make it through school if you find the right sources. Double check everything, do not pay money  to "Receive"  an application. There are a lot of scams out there--be careful. Good Luck in your future.

  2. I have never applied for a scholarship that required me to put in my parent's income. Are you sure you're not talking about the FAFSA, which is a federal application handled only by the government and completely secure, and what most colleges require you to fill out in order to attend? Because that's not a scholarship, that is just an application that decides if you will require lots of financial help or not.

  3. Don't be discouraged! There are PLENTY of scholarships out there!

Go to www.scholarships.com, it'll list a lot of interesting scholarships you can apply for.

If you know your dad's income and if it's below average, it's definitely important for you to place that info in because a lot of scholarships love to give to people who need it and incomes plays as evidence when they choose the winners. Of course, if your dad happens to make a lot of money then you shouldn't have to worry too much about scholarships.

However, I don't know if you've learned about government program FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) yet, but if you want to know if you qualify for loans and grants for college in the United States, your dad is going to have to give up his income info and much more financial info when you apply for it. There's no other way around it. Check out fafsa.ed.gov to learn more.

Don't be discouraged and at the end, if your dad starts complaining or something about how you don't have any scholarships or some kind of other college financial matter, it's all his fault. (not trying to be harsh in my wording)

  5. Hello how are you? What I suggest you do is use a scholarship search. A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description. Scholarshipsupport.com actually has 2 free scholarship searches available right now. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
