Are there any schools that will let you get a BFA in musical theatre on a part time basis?

Do BFA programs always have to be done full time? Preferably programs in western Michigan or the Chicago area. Also, do musical theatre BFA programs allow you to transfer in music/dance/theatre courses from other schools?

schools will let you transfer certain credits, depending, but maybe not all.  it really depends on what you studied at which school.  most bfa programs are too rigorous to take part time, you are expected to take all the required courses each semester and usually you also have to be able to go to rehearsals nights and weekends.  it is an exhausting endeavor that you must be ready to committ wholly to.  a BA program in theater could probably be taken part time.
