I personally believe hominid life originated in South America, not Africa

Actually scientist have now found some evidence that intellegent life was on the american continents thousands of years before they should have been if they came from africa. We really have no idea how human kind migrated.

Due to the fact that pretty much everything decays away after tens of thousands of years, we cant even be sure we are the most advanced cultures that have existed so far. 40,000 years ago there could have been a very advanced society with cold fusion or something. They could have collapsed and everything they had would be gone by now. Not a trace.
