Are there services that can chauffer someone around who is injured and can't drive? He needs to go to and from work, and may need to go to a few other places, too. You can rent a car and driver through Avis, but they charge 35.60/hr for the driver and 180/day for the vehicle. This is going to go on for about a month, so is there a more economically sensible way?

  1. As a former limo driver, I used to use a sedan to take a man in the movie industry to and from work after he dinged his leg playing basketball . Limo companies are more flexible in their costs because they are charter operations meaning they charge what they want . You might ask if arrangements can be made to transport your friend at least to and from work for the 30-day period . The 'other places' would mean having the driver for at least 8 hours at $45 - $55/hour . If this is not cost effective for him, try to work something out with an airport shuttle - like Prime Time or Super Shuttle, or with a taxi (last option).

    All the best.

  2. check with your city there might be dial ride services in your

    city for disable and seniors

or if you are in Los Angeles county you can apply for Acccess
