Are there any s*x offenders in my area?

i would like like to know because there are a lot of little kids always playing outside and by them selves. and im worry because i have 2 little kids of my own.

Check your area agencies web site, or their district court records on line.  All s*x offenders are posted on the web sites for city and county government.

Two things:  You should worry more about the non-registered offenders, i.e. those not arrested or adjudicated yet, and worry more about the offenders of crimes without a sexual component, i.e. your local crackhead or meth-head.  But look here:

Yes, count on it.

They may not be registered. The majority of those required to be registered either aren't registered, or are registered by not at the address where they actually currently live.

Or they may not have been caught yet.

Go to Family Watch Dog.  There you just type in the zip code you are asking about and it will list if they live and or work in the area.
