Are there any sites where you can design your wedding dress?

My mother wants to make my dress but I am not happy with any pattern that I am finding. My mother is very creative with a sewing machine so she can make anything I ask but I am having a hard time describing my idea to her.

if you go to http://www.jasminebridal.com you can take one of their existing dresses and alter it to be "temple ready" You can see the drawing of how you altered the bottom and top.

Another thing you can do is piece together pics from different dresses and put them together for her.

I don't think so. I WISH. The best I've found is the Dress Your Wedding from David's Bridal.com but those dresses are of course already made.

Not that I know of, but please, try describing your idea to us and maybe we can find a dress your mother can remake for you. :)

EDIT: Wow! What a vision! I know that all of these dresses don't have everything you want all rolled into one dress but I'm hoping that you can pick out individual things from each dress and then use that to describe it to your mother. :)

My daughter in law designed her own dress with "Casablanca"...she looked through their wedding dresses..picked out what she liked about different dresses and they put it together for her...It was just what she wanted...They lengthened her train, add more rhinestones, and beads and etc...they fixed her top just like she wanted it...and when it arrived..it fit just perfect and she was so excited that she had the dress of her dreams....Good Luck...HH

I would suggest looking around on wedding dress sites and finding a dress that is similar to what you would like your mom to do. That way, she has a visual and you would be able to explain things better.

BTW, kudos to your mom for doing this for you! Totally awesome of her!
