Are there any skin products which can make your skin lighter?

Yeh my cousin asked me this and like she is 13 and she hates her skin being dark cos it gives her a nasty complexion. She wants to know if there's a face wash or mask or anything like that to make her skin lighter on her face. Cream would do.

I'm not sure this would be a good idea, but I know that peroxide would bleach your skin. I had a pimple one time that wouldn't go away, so I put peroxide on it, and after I did that a few times, the area was a lot lighter than the rest of my face....lol. But it made the pimple go away......

However, your cousin probably shouldn't try this. If she is only thirteen, she could really do some damage trying to lighten her complexion that she'd regret later on.

why would u want 2 make ur skin lighter most people r paying a fortune 2 make theres darker if its the complexion she just needs 2 find a nice cream 2 suit her complexion a good one 2 use would be something natural like vitamin e

there's a natural way to do it safely. (:

i used it when my face was tanning too dark in the summer.

just get two slices of lemon, and put it in some milk, leave it in there for abit. and then use the milk to wash your face.

I also use the lemon slices to scrub my face abit. don't get it into your eyes though.

you can also make a mask, for a few hours.

again two slices of lemon, pop it in milk, leave it in there for abit, take the slices out and add some yogurt to thicken it. then apply it onto your face for an hour or so.

but it'd be best to test it somewhere other than your face first. :)

also, the lemon slices and milk thing is good for making lips look naturally pinker! :D

no theres not she needs to be happy with who she is and her skin color. who cares if shes dark, or light. skin color shouldnt matter

Tell her she should be proud of he colour! How many people spend hours sizzling in the sun or paying hundruds of pounds to go on hol 2 get a tan OR buying the fake stuff???  I spent 400 quid 2 go on hol 2 get a tan!!

it lightens ur complexion and lightens the hairs on the face also

but i dont think it will be good on ur cousin cuz its quite abrasive on ur skin...

tell her to wear lighter foundation

or just tell her that her skin is lovely as it is... i dont think people should be tampering with their faces at such a young age.
