Are there any small woodland creatures that I'd be able to put a campfire out with?

Using the forest friend to actually extinguish the fire, I mean. Not, like, working in tandem with it to put said fire out. Because that'd just be silly.

  1. Great question!  Try to find two really moody, angry porcupines.  Caution: don't wear gloves when you grab them....the gloves might catch on fire!!

  2. No, none that come to mind, but I hear that rabbits work great for whiping your azz.

  3. Squirrels have a great handle on them.  I bet you wouldn't get blisters with their soft fuzzy tail.  That and I don't think they smell like a skunk.  Raccoons are just to heavy...

Squirrels, yes, squirrels would do the trick!

  4. I hear rattlesnakes and copperheads are pretty flame resistant.

  5. I know it's not small, but I'd say go with a deer.  They're not on any endangered lists and they're not really nice to look at.  Plus, the brakes on my car are pretty much nonexistent right now, so the fewer deer that have the option of running in front on my car while I'm driving at top speed to make it to Burger King before they close, the better.

  6. Lets see you do that with a moose.

  7. well, yeah.

depending on the size of the fire, of course.

    a skunk.

    they squirt pretty good.

you just pick 'em up, aim 'em, and give 'em a twist, kinda like a washcloth.

you might want to feed 'em a beer first.

oh, and get a good grip, their teeth are pretty sharp.

be sure to tell me how it goes.  ;-)

  8. your face

  9. enough of any woodland creatures would douse a blaze. i'd say, which ever ones you can catch would be best to put out a fire...

ps bears and such can be caught (or they can catch you) but are more difficult to coerce into the fire cessation mode. good luck
