Are there any soccer stadiums, close to the THE BASILICA OF NUESTRA SEñORA DEL PILAR church, in Buenos Aires?

I need to know if there are any soccer stadiums within running distance from the "THE BASILICA OF NUESTRA SEñORA DEL PILAR" church in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Sometimes the church is referred to the "La Iglesia Nuestra Senora de Pilar (Our Lady of Pilar Church)"

I've looked at maps, but there not very helpful. Does anybody know? Thanks!

The closest football (futbol) stadium is the River Plate stadium. It is the largest in Argentina (80.000+ people), and the second largest after the Maracana in Sao Paulo, Brasil.

It was revamped in 1978 to host the FIFA World Football Championship and home to one of the most notorious, old and popular teams!

You are about 1.5+ hour walk through the most pintioresque neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires.

From Recoleta, to Figueroa Alcorta and Libertador (both avenues), then Palermo (gardens) and very close to the "Rio de la Plata" (River Plate)

From where you are the "67" bus will take you to Belgrano neighbourhood (Cabildo y Juramento) and you ca walk from there.

Plenty of other options by bus or even taxi, It is close to the local "Jorge Newbery Aeroparque" aiport.

To the South, "Boca Juniors", on the other spectrum of the argentinean football. But try it! Here again, the "152" bus from Libertador avenue in Recoleta will take you to this stadium! And real old neighbourhood where inmigrants settled more than 100 years ago. Caminito just across the street for you to admire!
