  1. Hi we live in Fuengirola area, and are finding it v.v.v.v.v hard to find youngish..30 ish...brits......have been here for 3 years now, and everyone seems to be retired etc!! Let us know where you have found some places this end of town...

  2. Im not entirely sure, i grew up in fungirola and the surrounding areas,

i do thing the above people are being a bit harsh on you as i know how hard it can be living in another country, but i was in a spanish school, so had a lot of spanish friends, so i didnt have the same problems as you i guess.

try looking in the sur in english, the english newspaper for the costa, you might get some ideas from their; i think there website is www.surinenglish.com

if not just google it; sur in english, newspaper costa del sol, or something like that, and the right one will come up.

    good luck,

sorry i couldnt be more help.

  3. i'm a bit lost as to why you wanted to move there. Should you brits over there not socialise together in Spanish areas, rather than just pretend you are back in UK ?

Is the chilling out on a warm summers evening, in a Spanish eatery, with nice red wine, tapas, not what it is all out about?

Im stuck in Britain and can only dream of sunshine, rioja and chorizo !!

  4. amazing... people in england complain about the pakistani's and bengalis not mixing and then go to spain and do the same thing...

  5. I am a member on this site, only a basic member which has some limitations but you do not have to pay at this level.

But on here you can search for people in your area, I know there are plenty in the Malaga area.In fact you can communicate with people from all over the world.

Other than that have you been to Plaza Mayor to the bowling alley. I was there last week and there were lots of young Spanish and English there.

    Good luck

  6. Yeah Malaga town centre, there is awsome night life. Go to Budda Lounge, Fraggle Rock, El Pimpi and the botellones in the town square. You don't need English mates - enjoy the Spanish and you'll have so much more fun ;-)

Also definitely go to the beach restaurant 'Te Espero Aqui' in Rincon for really good barbecue fish!

And to all you people who gave stupid answers above, que vayais a la mierda!

  7. No.  Now go back to your stinky little island and leave us alone!

  8. I don't know, but surely if you are living for some time in Spain you would try to learn the language and then mix with the locals. I know I would.

  10. Have you thought about getting a job in a bar? I know you wont make many long term friends , but at least you get to meet English people that way. Have a look in the town cryer see if anything is going. me i go in Murphys place in Benalmadena . Nice gaff!

  11. Try the Costa del Sol news, its the english language newspaper for the area, that should give you some pointers on where to look, or even to advertise.

I cannot believe the ignorance of some people on this site, I dip in from time to time, but get so fed up with the dumbass answers, I do hope you find what you are looking for, best wishes
