  1. you can try this website.

    www.aidinmotion.com

maybe they would be able to help you on this. they are a social work website based in dubai.

  2. no the job of social worker does not really exist in my experience, well not for expats, if they do it is for locals and u would have to speak arabic as first language or pretty well, its very difficult for expats to get into government jobs unknown really in my experience.  they dont have the same socal/welfare system as we have there is no social security system as such. single parents are unknown if a woman is divorced which is rare then she would go back to live with her family and as there is no s*x outside marriage there are no single mums and if expats are unlucky enough to become pregnant there whilst not maried they are thrown in jail.  the only things i think u may be able to do with that sort of qualification is to work in a private hospital maybe as an administrator or healthcare assistant but again the latter jobs are usually very poorly paid and undertaken by asians in the public sector it would have to be a private hospital like the american hospital of dubai..  otherwise u cd maybe be a teaching assistant in an expat school.  sorry this is a bit negative but its a whole different system there and whilst its a few years since i left i doubt much has changed if it has then i would be pleased to stand corrected by someone with more up to date knowledge. good luck.
