I'd really like to be our exploring in most recently uncovered things, and be at the place the discoveries are being made. Where are these places, and do they need medical staff (Medicine is my choose field)

  1. I don't think you will have any trouble at all. What you must do is look for the Anthropological department at your local university. They are the ones that run the digs.

There is also a yahoo group called Shovel Bums. Check that out.

Most of the medical needs is not only for a qualified first aid person on the site, it is also the need for a person who is good at forensic work. You will be working with graves. If you want to broaden your medical certification get a pathology internship for a period.

Often pathologists will work with archaeologists. So they go hand in hand as team workers.
