  1. There are fluorescent lamps with phosphors selected

    to produce more of the frequencies of light used for

    photosynthesis.

    They are called &quot;gro-lights&quot; and all plants will do quite

    well under them.

    &#039;Standard&#039; fluorescent lamps produce less light at these

    frequencies and only &#039;shade loving&#039; plants will do well under them.


  2. Peperomia, pathos, and peace lilies would be perfect for your office environment.  The cubicles around me abound with them and all look very green even under the fluorescent lights.
