  1. I'm Italian and I can tell you that here is similar to every part of the world. On the wedding you have to throw the rise onto the newlyweds and, I don't know the things you don't do while we do. (Sorry for my English)!!;p

  2. of course

  3. Yes they do have there own type ceremony.

I haven;t seen one, but have a friend from there. he said he had to spend 20 K on the wedding.

I asked why he had to spend so much, and he more or less said that it was expected by the others .

The more you spend the more impressive, like you love your daughter more or something.

Our daughters wasn't over 5K, and it was wonderful.

Thats been  a few years back though.

  4. well, when it comes to weddings you are expected to attend and bring a present (usually young people put money together for their honeymoon or for a big present for their new home). you are also expected to invite practically everyone in your family and friends. A wedding can be extremely expensive (up to 100K!!) and preparation is vital. usually people get married one or two years after gettin engaged. But this is also due to booked up churches.

Wheni t comes to birthdays, you are expected to offer a nice dinner to a restaurant to your closest friends (of course, you'll pay for it!)
