Are there any special programs in Maryland for someone interested in teaching but doesn't have all the credits

  1. To teach in a classroom, you will have to have finished a bachelors.  In MD, many of the districts do have programs that will help you get your certification and work towards your Masters once hired with your bachelor's.  Many of these programs will require you to agree to work for the district for so many years and often times, these are tough schools and districts.

    If you haven't completed your bachelor's yet, you may be able to be hired as a classroom aide, but I do not know of any programs that will help aides get thier degrees.  The best thing to do is talk to the counselors at your college and check the websites for the counties you would be interested in working in.
