Sure, there are! They don't work, but that doesn't prevent little girls with overactive imaginations from swearing that they really have a tail and powers. The difference is this --- what I am telling you is true. By accepting this you will have shown the wisdom and maturity to know the difference between enjoying a fantasy and knowing that it IS only a fantasy, and deluding yourself about a fantasy to the point that you have to lie to everyone, including yourself, that the fantasy is "real". Which would you choose?

Yes, there are spells which CLAIM to transform you physically into a mermaid with "powers". NONE of them work, except in your imagination. The current wave (no pun intended) of mermaid "spells" stems from the TV show H2O, Just Add Water. That is fiction, NOT reality. There are those who are so wrapped up in their fantasy that they firmly believe that they have actually "become" a mermaid with a cute rhyme, but it simply isn't truth. There is no spell or magic that will PHYSICALLY transform a human into another species. Sorry if that isn't what you want to hear, but it IS true.

Sometimes side effects don't happen until 2 weeks after saying the spell. Tail colors vary, and you do not decide what color your tail will be. It takes about a month to six weeks for your tail to fully develope. You do not get to choose your power. Powers I've heard of are the h2o powers (heating water, freezing water, or shaping water), psychic powers, and telekinesis. The power may take up to 2 months to develope.

For this spell to work you need to have a symbol; something that is special to you and is on your upper part of your body so it will be visible when you grow a tail. it can be a necklace, a bracelet, a ring, your hair,your eyes,etc. You cannot take it off for more than two hours at a time or you will lose your power and tail or the spell won't work. You also have to believe the spell will work or else it might not.
