  1. if its going to be anywhere it will be in california, probley in berkley


  2. Nope. Once the jails become flooded with too many marijuana offenses and the DEA feels they can't control it anymore, then they will legalize it.

  3. Massachusetts will be voting on a decriminalization measure this November that will make possession a fine-only offense.

    North Carolina, which decriminalized possession in the 1970s, will be considering medical cannabis legislation in 2009.

    On the federal level, H.R. 5843, an "Act to Remove Federal Penalties for Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults," has been introduced in the House of Representatives by Representatives Barney Frank and Ron Paul.  

    This measure, if passed, would strip the federal government of its authority to arrest responsible adult cannabis consumers.
