To be honest no party is "smart" or "dumb".

I don't know, but subscribing to one ideology over the other doesn't inherently make you "smart or dumb".  Americans can disagree on issues while agree that a prosperous America is the ultimate goal.

Yes it's called history, check it out. This country runs on who and what party controls the capital ( Republicans). Democrats have historically been a reactionary party to the consequences of corrupted greed. Stock Market Crash, Savings& Loan fiasco, insider trading, sub prime loan debacle. No accountability, no oversight...it's time for a new direction. Individualism is overrated, and collectivism will make a return to a more just and fair balance for the greater number of Americans...just like it once did.
