Are there any stores in miami that buy used books?

I've got a lot of books that I would like to sell asap. (preferably in person, not online) Only problem is, some of the places that i've discovered don't pay cash, instead they give store credit. Or, if they do pay cash, they are not located in florida.

Does anyone know what types of stores I am supposed to search for? Are there any in Miami?

Yes and the best way to find them is go to www.switchboard.com enter used bookstores Miami FL get a list with phone numbers and call and ask if they buy for cash.

Good luck with you search.  I am in St. Louis and most of our book stores only give you store credit as well.  If your interested I have found some great websites that allow you to trade books, CD's, DVD's etc. See my profile for link to titletrader and paperbackswap. This allows you to get rid of an item you no longer want and get something you do want in return. Titletrader is awesome because you can trade books, dvd's, cd's, games and vhs tapes. So if you get rid of a book you may be able to get a dvd in exchange. Paperbackswap is only for books. Both sites are great!
