Hey, I have a VHS tape I'd like to digitize... Anyone know if there are any stores that have that service available? Example: Fedex Kinkos, or any major retailers like that?

  1. Don't know about them but there are many local small shops that will normally do this. As long as its not a copyrighted vhs and just home video (however I HAVE GOTTEN a shop to copy copyrighted vhs for me...but i won't say what a city)

normally its about 20 bucks or cheaper but you can easily buy a vhs to dvd recorded on ebay they run about 100 bucks and up

  2. Hi...Best idea,  first buy a TV Tuner card for your computer. Confirm that card has S-VHS or RCA video input and stereo audio input options. Then, download the software from www.intervideo.com - You can make your own DVD or Video CD at home itself.

If you want to edit more, use www.ulead.com - Media Studio software.
