Are there any successful tubal ligation stories?

I am 27 years old and had a tubal ligation at age 21 years old. My husband and I are sexually active for the most part.

My periods haven't been effected and I didn't have any complications from the surgery.

I haven't gotten pregnant yet. The only thing, during that time of month, I do get hot flashes, which from my understanding, it can happen.
