  1. 1st Parents should undertake responsibilty for not keep gun in open place or accessible to their kids

2nd school mangement should ensure that the kids coming to shcool he/she should not be accompanied with gun. A check i.e.electronic scanning system should be enforced at the entrance of the school gate.

The management or school staff shold sternly be restricted that by any means the gun should not be allowed to enter in school premises.

A thorough check up system on daily basis through an electronic device should be in place.

3rd The vendor who is selling the gun should see the age who is buying the gun.

4th Govt should impose a drastic law that no shopkeeper or vendor can sell the gun with out looking/ checking the license issued from the local govt authority.

Implementation of local govt law will minimise and curtail the phobia to carry a gun in everybody's hand.

If anyone finds breaking the law should be executed and business license should immediately be cacelled and a ban for five years to be imposed who did not follow the govt instructions

The boy who found carring the gun should be warn by shcool authority and parents should be issued notice to take care for the child with last and final action.

If the same boy appears with gun then he shuld be expelled from the institution and be barred for five years to take admissioin in any shcool in the same city where he lives.

Try it i hope such gun mania will reasonably will decline and at least a discourage will be in place to eliminate such incidence which has been a tradition in school now adays.

Juvinile cell and related laws shold be revised, in al most cases so far we have witnessed no serious action has been taken resulting after few years the child comes back from the cell and repeats the same thing.

  2. The good news is YES! the country can do something to possibly eliminate or reduce the number of school shootings.

The bad news is that groups such as the NRA and most of the local and state goverment officials won't do anything about it because they are scared of loosing there votes instead of being more concerned with preserving the lives of others.

My suggestion is this we need to make this a national goverment issue and then have it enforced state by state in accordance to there own laws. Your asking yourself now how do we do this? It's very very simple we need to make owning and purchasing weapons a more involved process. My suggestion is to first make mental health a part of the process plain and simple if you have a history of mental health then you don't get a gun. The second part of this is to make a mandatory law in which gun shows MUST comply with all gun laws and the sellers and vendors at these shows must have the consumer complete the full background check. Also we need to increase taxes on ammunition for these weapons, now don't get me wrong I come from a hunting family and by no means say that we should take guns out of peoples hands but we need to make this a more detailed process. Sadly though the NRA will fight this all the way because we as a country would rather listen to groups other than the american people! But you have to ask yourself these simple questions: Would I really mind waiting a few days more on getting a gun? second is there something in my past that would keep me from getting a gun and thus i'm afraid of a detailed background check? if the anwser to these questions is YES! then ultimately you shouldn't have a gun to begin with! and in closing I think the parents of this country should start making more of a effort in keeping track of there kids!

    these are just my opinions

  3. take away violent TV and videos and return Christianity

  4. Guns are not the problem it is the people who do the shooting that are a problem.  That being said when someone knows he/she is going into an area where there are  guns they are less likely to bring a gun and start shooting.  Why, because they do not know who will shoot back.  However, if it is a person who is going to kill themselves, as in the case in Illinois, there is not much you can do.  The man wanted to make a statement and then he wanted to die and this is what he did.  To all those who say we need to ban guns or make getting them harder:  Do you really think the bad guys are going to get them legally?  To those that say raise the taxes on ammunition:  Do you think the bad guys buy ammunition at the local gun shop?  The only ones you will hurt will be the ones who are already doing things legally, is this what you really want to do?

  5. There are 80 million gun owners in the US. That's the ones that have bothered to register them. So only God knows how many unregistered ones there are in that gun infested country. Until this is rectified Americans will continue to shoot each other . Sad but a fact.

  6. Allow people to carry guns.

Look, angry and violent people have been around since the beginning of time.  School shootings are glorified on TV shows and the media. It brings much infamy to the perpetrator. These are dynamics that can't be controlled.

  7. Revival of faith and a value for human life.

Guns have been around since the founding of our country.  I used to have one myself.  However, shootings have skyrocketed in the past ten years.  Why?  We are being "sold" evil and hate and violence by the media, and we no longer have a base of faith to understand how wrong that is.
