Are there any summer jobs for 13-14 year olds in kansas?

OK i'm 13 and I'll be 14 in august,21st that is,and I BADLY need a job,i don't know anyone who would hire me to baby sit.I'm a responisible person for my age,but i'm not sure where to look for work......I had an idea to sell candied apples in front of wal-mart but,i didn't think ppl would buy them because i don't have a food handling permit so they might think i'm trying to poison them or something,but thats beside the point,point it,i need a job that pays well

Im 15, when I was 13 I was asked to mow a neighbors lawn, they payed 40$ a week just to mow their lawn. Then their neighbors saw and I did yard work for them. I have six lawns that I mow weekly now, plus other random yardwork.  Im pulling in near 300$ a week and I work on my own hours, when I want.  I suggest that you put some flyers on neighboring houses, advertising that you will mow their lawn for $30-40. this is the best thing you can do, youll make more than any of your friends and you get to be your own boss.
