Are there any super computer techs I can call right now?

I have no sound on my computer. INstalled a new CD drive and hard drive, everything worls fine, I installed everything, even on a realteck thing, there is sound in the sound test but it will not play audio. Devise manager says sound card is working. I can call, my e-mail is prettyvacant7007@msn.com for you to send me your phone number.

  1. Try double clicking the pic of the speaker at the bottom right of the screen near the clock...be sure your wav and cd bar are up....and not muted.

    When you installed your new hard drive you probally wiped your audio drivers off your hard drive....if you have the original disc that came with your computer you should have one that installs the drivers....look for that and navigate to the audio drivers...or you can navigate here

    Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound > Sound > Driver > Update Driver...

    Also you can google your computer make model and audio drivers where you download them and usually they offer a setup.exe file that takes care of all of that for you.....or even your sound card drivers...
