Are there any supermarkets in the Kings Cross area?

Question

I'm going to London in September and I'll be staying for a week or so. As I plan to save as much money as possible, I will be making my own meals, but I have no idea if the area I'm staying at (Kings Cross) has any supermarkets, markets or any kind of place where I could get some meat and veg. If possible, please point me to the most affordable place.

am from blackheath and thats near new cross, i aint been new cross in ages, i dont tend to go down there because there is so much violence be careful

numerous, Tesco, Waitrose by Russell Square not far from K Cross. Loads of small supermarkets around the area.

Plus Angel Islington has a reasonable market for veg, fruit and some shops like Sainsburys. Also not far from Kings cross.
