  1. I agree with the person who said witchhazel.  It can keep an area from going black and blue, and this I know from experience.  Also vitemen E I think works!

  2. yeah.. rose hip.. google it

  3. try witch hazel, it comes in a clear bottle that looks like rubbing alcohol,  you can find it at most stores, Walmart included.  Just rub it on your cuts and bruises.

  4. my chiropractor told me to up my vitamin C consumption and that would fit with the person who mentioned rose hips as they are a good source of C.  Also, you may need your eyes examined  since that could be a cause of the klutz thing.  Easier sometimes to fix the cause than treat the symptoms.  Also, some medical conditions make you more susceptible to bruising and a checkup with your doctor and mentioning this might be in order.

  5. Arnica cream (health food store) can be rubbed on several times a day. (Also great for muscle soreness)

Alternate ice and heat; this will bring blood to the area and speed healing of a bruise.

Buy some Bromelian supplements (can be found at any nutritional stores). Take 250-500 mg. of Bromelian between each meal throughout the day until your bruise heals. Bromelian supplements work by helping to digest the proteins that causes pain and swelling. This will help keep the bruise from swelling more and from becoming more painful. These supplements come in both tablet and capsule form.  A lower dose will can be used for 'maintenence' in between any falls!

Also, you may want to check with your doc is you are bruising easily.  That may be indicative of a problem.  There are some conditions the show up with easy bruising, bleeding, etc you need to be aware of so consider looking into that!

  6. Homeopathic Arnica tablets and arnica gel or cream rubbed all over the area help as well.  Supplementing your diet with Vitamin C complex is imperative as well.  C Complex includes bioflavonoids such as rutin, quercitin and hesperidin, all of which when deficient in the body can cause excessive bruising, bleeding gums, capillary fragility and breakage, varicose veins, etc, etc.

  7. Nothing in particular as long as you are healthy and eat a balanced diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Keep the abrasions clean with mild soap and water, and cover it with a bandage for a few days until it scabs over (natures bandaid)  Bruises are blood cells and pigment in the skin, it takes a period of time for the body to re-absorb them..you can't speed it up.

You don't say how old you are.  If a teen...many adolescents go through a clumsy phase while they are growing rapidly.  It's nothing to be alarmed about.

  8. vitamin b 12
