Are there any tax implications in rolling over my 401a into a Roth IRA?

  1. You roll your 401k over into a conversion roth ira. You will have to pay the taxes on it.


  2. You will pay income taxes on the amount rolled into the Roth IRA.  You did not pay income taxes on the 401a contributions.
