  1. Yeah, we call them op shops.

There are Vinnies, Salvation Army and a few others.

    Google it. :)

  2. thrift shops

    oppo shops

    Vinnie's

lots around near 1 in every suburb

  3. We call them The Sarvos, Go to small towns and you will occasionally find small stores that sell cheap and very fashionable clothing.

  4. Search on google.com and type in "thrift shops in melbourne, australia".

  5. Yes, another answerer has told you this already ... but our Thrift Shops are known as OPPORTUNITY SHOPS ( or Op-shops for short )

there are several WELL KNOWN OP SHOPS .. such as St Vincents ( St Vinnies) , The MS Shop , and Sallies ( the Salvos In Wantirna Rd Ringwood.)... plus dozens of others ..

Most of the Op shops are run by volunteers and all profits go to a school or charity...

MOST towns/suburbs will have at LEAST ONE.

  6. There are heaps of op shops around Melbourne.  Depends what suburb you are in.  Best bet would be to do a search on google.
