  1. yes, I have been a french student for 4 years. First of all don't ignore pronunciation. It can be frustrating at times (especially trying to pronounce "R"s), but it is worth it to learn correct pronunciation. When using adjectives, always make sure that you make them agree with the noun that they are describing (you'll see what I mean when you learn about that). When you learn verbs, figure out which ones are irregular, and focus on learning those first. They are much harder to remember how to conjugate, but they are the most frequenly used in the language. When you get to past tense, don't neglect learning the "D.R. M.R.S. V.A.N.D.E.R.T.R.A.M.P." verbs. they are important. Other than that, I would say juts have fun with it. French is a wonderful language to learn. Bon Chance!
