  1. Dna may indicate that you have a percentage of native american blood, but it is not going to tell you which tribe.  So the answer HAS to be NO.

In fact, even if you prove connection to a Cherokee ancestor.. that alone does not qualify for enrollment.  You have to show that your ancestor was actually on the Dawes rolls.  Many NA chose not to enroll or accept benefits, because they felt it to be demeaning, or they had married into "white" society and didn't want to be identified as Indian.

  2. There are many tribes from many places.  Which one are you referring to?

  3. No, in fact many tribal members are on the front line apposing such claims in the name of science.

Indian Tribes themselves keep records of their citizens and descendants.

Many individuals "tried" to enroll but were rejected due to lack of proof of family ancestry, many who did not choose to sign were enrolled by the government regardless as records proved they were of Indian ancestry, If someone denied they re Indian ancestry it is considered the same as denying your race and nation.  There was no fear in claiming ones Indian heritage the only fear was not being with your family.
