Are there any types of plastic that will reflect or refract light as well or almost as well as glass?

I'm looking for something to substitute for glass for a mirrored application.

For plastics that refract light better than glass, google "high index of refraction plastics"

there are lots of them out there.  You can mirror the surface of plastic as well as glass (although it is more difficult to make a plastic mirror as stiff as a glass one).  Search for "plastic mirror" will turn up lots of examples.
