Are there any universities in any Spanish speaking country that offer courses taught in English?

I want to study abroad in a spanish speaking country so I can improve my Spanish. However, I don't know the language well enough to take classes that are only taught in Spanish. I feel like taking a spanish class and doing a home stay will help with that. Other than that I want to take courses taught in English.

  1. Yes!  I have a friend studying abroad in Spain right now, and she's never had Spanish before!  I am going there next semester.  Both of the sites I have listed offer english speaking classes in spain.

    http://www.academicintl.com/

    and http://www.studyabroad.com/

as for other countries like in south america, I am sure you can find some.  try googling "study abroad" or talking to someone at your school that has experience with studying abroad!

    Have fun on your travels!

  2. There are a few universities in Mexico which offer programs in English.

Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) has 33 campuses around the country but only the campuses in the major cities offer programs in English.

Two US universities, Alliant International University and Endicott College, have campuses in Mexico City where you can complete an entire degree program in English.

Panama also has a few options of US universities which have campuses in Panama City.

Your first resource should be your unviersities Study Abroad Office.  They may already have established semester or year programs abroad with a US professor from your university.
