Are there any vcrs with digital tuners?

I'd like to buy a vcr with a digital tuner.

Probably the only ones are the DVD and VCR recorder combinations with ATSC tuners for the US anyway.  Not sure about other countries.

VCRs are a dying breed and since you can't record on them HD programming, not very useful in the long term.

There used to be a JVC HD-VCR a few years ago, but I am not even sure if JVC sells it any more.

Try to find a DVD recorder with Digital tuner, or even better a DVD Recorder/HDD combo that will allow you to record on the HDD HD programming.
