I do... most vegetarians say they hate meat but I'm wondering how many of you still can appreciate the flavor and texture of a nice thick prime rib steak but choose not to eat it for ethical reasons.

  1. Not everyone was born & brought up as vegetarian. I was a typical meat-eater, evolved to be vegetarian, and eventually vegan. The challenges are big ones

Trust me "Dana W", MEAT is a sin craving evil that pull you to the doom. It could be your internal factor (frail, greed, chaos), or external factor (surroundings, society, environment).

    Overcome it!

  2. Yes I missed it. Bacon, beef, seafood. Sigh.

Yeah, I'm an ethical vegetarian. If I did it for health reasons I would not stick with it, too lazy.

  3. yes, sometimes I miss it. I never knew if this decision would be permanent, however...made it based on health benefits. If I want to eat meat again, I'll eat meat.

  4. I like the taste, but it just disgusts me when I think about what I'm actually eating.  It also makes me sick when I actually eat it.  I'll be honest, I kind of miss it, but I'm not going back to it.

  5. Not at all.

I've been a vegetarian for years, and I find the smell of meat disgusting.

Even with all the **** I get from most people around me about what I eat. How the h**l would these people who've never once eaten some healthy vegetables know Anything about being vegetarian?

  6. I miss the taste of orange chicken. :(

  7. I have been a vegeterian for almost 2 years now and i grew up eating meat until i learned what it was made of. But yeah; i will smell it cooking sometimes and just be like oh my god that smells sooo good but then i think about how the animal died just for you to eat it.

  8. Growing up in a meat-eating family.. I stopped eating animals 2 years ago.. and I don't miss it.. i am kinda grossed out by it.. the fleshy-ness upsets my stomach..

  9. no, i eat the soy "fake" meats and i find them very satisfying for the taste.  i have absolutely no desire whatsoever to eat a real piece of meat because as soon as i think about what it is i lose all interest.
