Would anyone know of either a list of vehicles or a website that would be able to assist me in looking for a vehicle with the desired specifications that I am looking for?

  1. well most cars today have a 2/3 seating pattern.

some vehicles offer 3rd row seats but they will not hold adults or anything but small children.

try this website look for the feature called Decision Guide

    http://autos.msn.com/decision/default.as...

    look at the Kia Rondo

Highs: Ride, quietness, powertrain, access, versatility, controls, standard ESC, available third-row seat.

The Rondo offers an impressive amount of room for its compact size. With seating for up to seven, it has minivanlike utility with the dimensions of a small car. It competes mainly with the six-passenger Mazda5. Built on the same platform as the Kia Optima, the Rondo also shares its 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine, as well as the optional 2.7-liter V6. Expect fuel economy of 21 mpg overall with the V6. Fit and finish is very good, and access is very easy. The ride is comfortable and quiet, and the powertrain is refined. Handling is not particularly agile, but it is secure. Stability control and curtain air bags are standard.

  2. The 1st generation  base model scions xb's have a weak engine. Therefore good on gas. Oh and autotrader.com helps me a lot when im trying to figure out specs like that. Just go to "research & compare"
