  1. Dont worry. All  hotels are excluded from the water saving programm so you will come, have your holidays and dont understand that there is problem with water in Cyprus

  2. Yes unfortunately they are. We're having a drought now and every day they stop the water and we're only allowed to use it at night or on a fixed schedule. But Paphos doesn't have that, but they will soon I think. But there will be enough water for tourists in hotels and they let tourists use as much water as we like I think. But it will be over soon once we get water from Greece.

  3. not usually

  4. We are currently experiencing drought conditions; we haven't had any substantial rain for nearly two years, and though in some places  our water is off for up to two days at a time, this really isn't affecting the tourist industry.

We have just recently started to take deliveries of drinking water in tankers from Greece.

I live in Xylofagou, ..about 30K from Larnaca, and about 8K from Agia Napa.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll have a great holiday........just remember to help conserve water while you're here!

  5. Yes there are, although Greece is helping out by agreeing to supply up to half of the expected shortage.  Residents in the Larnaca area have mains water on 3 days of the week, and which days depend on what part of Larnaca you live in.  Hopefully this shouldn't affect the tourist hotels too much, although I'm sure you will be requested to take care when using water.

Have provided a link from Larnaca news, albeit earlier in the month.
