Are there any ways to travel to France for free?

I've been wanting to go to france since I was a freshman in HS, now I'm a senior in HS. Does anyone know how I can get there for little or no money$?

Me too I'm in the same predicament I'm a senior as well and i wanna take one of my very best friends and only have $500 so far.

Some students (usually girls) work as an au pair or nanny.  I have heard that some are disappointed because they have to work very hard and don't have time to go sightseeing.  The pay tends to be very low also.  France from a tourist's point of view can be very different from the France of a busy au pair.
