I know height's based on genetics.

I'm 13 and I'm 5'4 and I"m not sure if I'm going to grow any taller.

I just started puberty last year but I'm not sure if I can grow up to 5'9 because my mom's only 5'1 but my dad's 5'10.

If I can grow up to 5'9 I could start modeling and it would really help me get into an ivy league college (I'm a legend at school, I skipped a couple grades in math with no extra help/tutoring, I'm almost a pro at piano, I'm unbelievable at sports, and I'm a very outgoing and popular person at school)

so are there any ways I can get taller? I think I should just wait until I'm 16 because that's when most people stop growing but I'm very worried about my height

  1. You will probably peak at 5'6 plus at the age of 15 when girls usually stop growing.  Peaking at 5'9 is a very remote possibility but nevertheless possible.

  2. You want it all, don't you? Look, if you don't make it past '5"4, it's no big deal. All you can do is get your calcium (milk, spinach) and that's it. I've been '5"4 since I was your age and I'm 23 now.

Besides, as smart and talented as you claim you are, why modeling? They're under extreme pressure over their looks, are forced to starve themselves and are told straight up that they're not pretty enough, too fat, too awkward, etc. by people in the industry all the time. Why go through that?

You have so many other options. Besides, the last time I checked, modeling was not a requirement for college admission, especially an ivy league school.
