Are there any websites that can tell me how much an item is worth?

its a teaset that my gran left to us years ago and I`m looking to sell it but I dont know how much its worth! are there any websites that tell you this kind of information- I also have some vases as well so information on all these kind of antique type things would be great, thanks in advance for the help.

Couple things to try......

1. Look for the item you have on sites like ebay

2. Visit 3 or more local antique dealers with the item for their input.

3. Take it to a museum-you may be able to negotiate a deal that you get it appraised for free if you allow them to display it for a period of time.
