www.cnet.com does electronics. Also check stock market areas with a google search. Investors and traders keep up to date on trends in sales and so forth.

Try going to clickbank, and then research which products have the most affiliates, and which are converting the best. This can give you an idea of what products are selling the most right now.

There's also a google service called trends that you might find useful-- it tells you what people are searching about the most right now.

There are many ways to market a small business on the web.  You can buy banner ads, text links, or use PPC.  However, the best way is to get listed in a bunch of portals. Portals and directories are like phone books, and they often provide a lot of traffic because they tend to rank high on Google.
