There's google sketch-up, you can download it for free at http://sketchup.google.com/ , it lets you make 3D models

or optitex, i'm pretty sure you have to buy that though, it's a fashion design application: http://www.optitex.com/index.php

it sounds dumb but it's actually really fun - sim golf! you can get a free demo of it at http://www.simgolf.ea.com/ , it's pretty extreme, trust me!!

you can also play the regular sims, but you have to buy it.

or you can go to http://www.polyvore.com and mix-and-match clothes and accessories to make outfits.
