Are there any websites where you submit your CV and employers contact you?

I am looking websites from the UK, where you submit your CV and people who are interested in giving a job for you, basically contact you? any links?

By and Large they are not very effective!

Better to try a comprehensive site, like jobserve.com, which has a very good search machine and a run-down on just about every recruiter of note!

hi yea there are loads, type in the job you are looking for and loads of job recruitment agencies will come up. i have just been looking for a job and have gone on many sites and uploaded my CV. recruiters call you and ask for a bit more information on what you are looking for and then call you when they have found something and arrange an interview. also look at companies that you would be interested in working for as on alot of their websites you can upload a CV on there.
