  1. Many.

The majority fly on the transcontinental routes from LAX to NYC or other cities from coast to coast. Delta, American, and United all have 767s that frequenlty get used.

Every now and then you even seen those big planes pulled out on high volume, shorter routes as well. I flew on a delta 767 once from NY to Atlanta, which is basically only a 2 hour flight.

  2. Yes, American occasionally moves around its 767 and uses them for domestic flights such at (bos to sfo) (bos to mia)( bos to lax )

  3. United flies several 767, 777, and even the occassional 747 on its domestic routes mainly between its hubs on flights like: ORD-DEN, SFO, LAX; WAS-DEN, SFO, LAX; AND DEN-SFO, LAX. There's also a DEN-SEA on a 767.

Delta flies 767 and the 777 between its hubs in ATL to JFK, LAX, SFO, SLC, DEN, MCO, and occassionally here and there in Florida. There are also some 767 on the LAX and SFO to JFK routes as well as SLC to LAX.

American flies 767 and 777 a lot between LAX and SFO - BOS, JFK, ORD, DFW, MIA.

Otherwise, that's about all you'll find on the continental US, but to Hawaii (which technically counts as domestic), United, Continental, Northwest, American, Delta, and Hawaiian all offer widebody service.

US Airways is pretty much the only US airline I can think of that doesn't offer any of its widebody aircraft for domestic service.
