Are there any zoos that have a platypus in america?

Preferably in the central or eastern part of the country. And any zoo websites that have them are welcome as well.

  1. I was not able to confirm any US zoos with platypus.  Apparently they are difficult to maintain and suffer from stress.  http://www.jwildlifedis.org/cgi/content/...

    The New York Zoological Society perhaps had a short-lived pair in the 1920's, though they never reproduced, and there were others elsewhere.

  2. i believe Brookefield in illinois does.. havent been to any outside of IL except for NY zoo.. didn't see em there
