Are there anyone left who still use cursive? ?

Question

I'm wondering if there are people still using cursive, especially among the younger generations. Virtually all of the people I know who use cursive are adults, most of them seniours. I rarely see it among my peers now (I'm 17). I've learned cursive in 3rd and 4th grade, but we weren't required to use it, so I did not use it at all until recently. I primarily like it because I think of it as more "traditional", and am trying to get cursive script back into circulation again.

I don't write everything in cursive, sometimes I write in print, sometimes in cursive. I use cursive for homework, writtings, and literary related stuff. I use print when I do math and physics calculations (It's a must, doing it in cursive is way too confusing), taking notes, and other things.

The same thing happened to me. It is a good idea to write an essay in cursive ( event though most of us use computers) to get extra credit. (only if you have good cursive hand writing)

ive been doing it for a long time. since i was about....15ish?

it just happened.... i find it to be a way faster way of writing than printing by picking up ur pen after EVERY letter.... bhaaaa... lol

i write nice btw its not some crazy messy doctors writing or something worse.....

oh and everything i write is cursive.... EVERYTHING ;)

I use cursive.  I like the way it looks.  And if I'm writing something out on paper, and want to emphasize it, I use cursive.  It works like italics on the computer.  But, I agree that there aren't that many people that write in cursive anymore.  :(

that just means joined up writing right? I learned it in primary school, but i don't use it anymore. I personally don't like it (I think it looks a bit too "frilly"....sorry :D)

I write in cursive all of the time,so much I forget how to print at times.Ive been writing in cursive ever since I was seven years old, and now I'm a twenty year old college student.Personally,I think it looks much better than print.

lots of kids my age use cursive because they forgot how to wrie print. so no you arent out of style.
