Are there beaches in Waterford?

I want to go snorkling or diving. Are there any places in Waterford where I can do those things? Anything to do with the sea and ocean.

Hey, there are beaches in waterford. Check out failte ireland (google it) and you should get info. I don't think the above answerer is talking about Ireland though!!!

yep, one of Ireland's most popular beach resorts, Tramore, is in Waterford. There's a water sports shop opposite the beach so you can hire equipment and get lessons and stuff from there.

tramore is waterfords biggest beach it offers a huge variety of watersports and is a fantastic seaside resort!!!

try tramore beach , my husband goes out most weekends , either snorkeling or water skiing

Hi, i presume you are talking about Waterford  Conn.  I was stationed back there (Air Force)  approx. early 80s. You are about 2 to 4 miles to the beach.  if you have GOGGLE EARTH on your computer it will show you all the beaches.  Hope this helps.
