  1. yes there are. knuckle push ups strengthen ur fist and flatten ur knuckles. so wen u punch there is less chance of u breaking ur wrist. if u do clappin push ups on ur knuckles u will develope better punching power.

  2. there are,, strengthen ur muscles, build up ur body better, make ur chest harder

  3. Yea you **** up your knuckles.Take the skin off then when it grows back it will be stronger.

  4. Yes; it helps develop calcium deposits on your first two knuckles and builds them up and makes them stronger as well as your wrist and forearm.  When done properly only the first two knuckles will make contact with the floor and after doing twenty or thirty of them only those two knuckles should be white not any others or the flat, front part of your fist.

If you punch something hard and make primary contact with anything other than those first two you will probably break that weaker third or fourth one which they call floating knuckles since they are not supported directly by the bones behind them in your hand and wrist like your first two knuckles are.  I can hit a rock hard heavy bag bare handed full force and not break my hand or wrist while many students who just start out would break their hand, knuckles, or wrist doing such a thing because they are just starting out and don't have the technique down and their wrist, hand, and first two knuckles are not strong enough to usually do that without risk of injury.  This carries over to fighting in that you have fewer hand injuries usually and don't generally have to worry if your punch is pushed or blocked down and hits someone on the hip or they turn at the last second and you hit them on the head instead of the face.

  5. makes your punching harder
