  1. Possibly you mean Agioi Apostoloi in Chania.

If that is the case, then surely you will get waves especially in the afternoon when the meltemia that run all the Aegean reach the island of Crete. The whole Aegean sea will surely accommodate you

The same is possible for the South side of Chania by the Libyan sea.

In either case don't expect waves like the ones you will get in the Atlantic but they will be enough to make you happy.

  2. Probably not, sorry! In order to have waves, you need bad weather or a low first of all. The Mediterranean seldom gets big lows in summer, the only time would be in winter. And even then, you will never get big waves, simply because the Mediterranean is something like a small lake compared to the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean where waves travel for miles which will make them big eventually.

Go to the Atlantic Ocean on your next vacation, France, Portugal, Morocco...all have good waves!

Take your snorkelling gear to Crete, the sea is beautiful there!
