Are there black People on egypt today?

What percentage? Could they pass for black in america? Thats my criteria? I'd like to know bcuz I always here people talking about ancient Egypt, but they neglect to really explain in detail what the faces of modern Egypt look like.

well u can  found  many  tone color of  skin  in egypt  even  ppl with green  eyes and  whiete skin  and blond natural hair color especially in  mansoura and the more you  go to  south  the tone color will get  darker but black  like dark  black  like african  american no  still  lil lighter

There are some very dark skinned people in egypt but when i was there i also saw one man that had starwberry blond hair and green eyes, he told me this is quite rare but natural and some egyptians are very fair.

there are no basketball courts in egypt so no black people live there, obviously.

Well..... Egypt is in Africa! so..... yes there are black people in Egypt... You will find the majority in upper Egypt Closest to Nubia. But what exactly do you mean by black...... are you talking about their skin tone because then I will ask you what do you consider to be black.... This people are from Africa, their skin tones vary just like any other country but essentially their are Egyptian-African!!

Egypt is and has always been a multicutural society as has been said before, it was likely the first truly mulitcultural society in history.

The Upper Egyptians were to a large degree Nubian and this is prehaps just as evident in the population today. There are also refugees coming into Egypt from countries such as Sudan and Uganda .

The ethnic mix of modern Egypts is varied but many could easily pass for being Black American or Hispanics on the streets of L.A. today with no problems and the situation just as easily reversed.
