Are there black widow spiders in Minnesota?

Are they anywhere such as Wisconsin or Iowa for that matter?

  1. yes, i had one...of course i brought her from wyoming. i guess the can be found any where, although they like warm, shady, dry climates...


  2. Yes, they occur naturally in Minnesota.  There are three species of black widows.  In Minnesota, you get the Northern black widow (Latrodectus variolus).
